| subject: | 2 questions: Tables and executable definition |
Hi Didier,
(Monday October 26 1998 21:21) Didier Weerts to All about: 2 questions:
Tables and executable definition
DW> 2ø) For executable definition, the command is: `Set .tst=Edit`
DW> If I launch a `blurp[.tst]`, 4DOS will execute `Edit blurp` right?
Actually, it will execute `Edit blurp.tst`, but the difference is small ;-)
DW> My question is: how configure this option that 4DOS will interprete it
DW> like: `Edit blurp something_else`
DW> With the `something_else` ALWAYS at the END and WITHOUT typing it?
DW> I tried `Set .ext=Edit %& something_else` but it didn't work..
Try `Set .ext=Edit %1 something_else`
If that fails, maybe the `Edit` command in question doesn't allow for an
extra parameter ;-)
