  Yair... I've been using Windows with the comms settings I used in
the old 386. I've reduced the buffer and time given to process the com
interrupt, but it'll be a month before I know if it's worked.

  I get one every week or so, and so far I can't see that it's related
to anything. It's nearly a week since I changed the boost time and
buffer, so maybe it'll work. It's always a TIMEOUT error... which is
strange.
