ML>> it was only hidden in the FD terminal, though... right? TJM> Nope, ALL terminals. hummm... i don't see how unless ANSI codes were used to set black on black... but that means that FD would also have to detect whether or not ANSI codes were accepted... and nothing can hide stuff on a ASCII (non-color) terminal... i keep thinking about it and i just don't see it... i seem to recall the text always being there... only some terminals, when they are set to look for it, were very quick in snatching it away... hummm... this could also be an effect of the complete rewrite that FD went through... i dunno... i do know that FD sends the EMSI text... it has to so the remote end can see it to act on it if it wants to... its up to the BBS to send the IEMSI text and handle that... are we confusing EMSI and IEMSI? )\/(ark* Origin: (1:3634/12) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 3634/12 106/2000 633/267 |
