The Carrollton Cycling Club's regular meeting is tomorrow night (Tuesday). 
That's the main fire department on Addison by the airport.  Visitors are 
welcome.  If you want to join it is $25.  I don't even think we require a
bicycle.

Well I've been riding around here pretty regular.  Have had a couple of 
crashes but nothing involving a motor vehicle.  Went down on some gravel on a 
turn in a club ride and into a barricade on a bike trail.  But the streets

pretty safe in my opinion.

Richardson Bike Mart is on Coit at Belt Line.  They get virtually all my 
business.  I think they carry Schwinns, although I have Treks.  There is also 
Bicycle Exchange near the Gazebo in "Old Downtown Carrollton" (between Belt 
Line and Crosby on Old Denton or Main or something like that).  I don't 
recall if they carry Schwinns.  Either shop will give club members a 10% 
discount.
White Rock Lake.  Well, the head of White Rock trail is just off Hillcrest 
north of LBJ.  The trail runs down to the White Rock
