Bonnie,
        I think you said it all when you mentioned getting as flat as
possible while still maintaining your ability to pay the rent each
month.  I would like to sometime get a surround system etc. for my home
but the cost of 1. building a sound room 2. the equipment I'd like to
have (Bryston power, Martin Logan's... yeah right....)
