My Computer / Properties, last tab (Performance..)
then: File System / Removable Media
(hope that's what it is in English)
Not sure if that really does the job.
I guess he wants to avoid comparing the disk files with the
cached files.
I don't know any other way but pressing the floppy button
and push it back in. :(

Horst didn't say which version of Windows he's using. On the Win95 and
Win98 I use at work, I think it's under My Computer / System, but I
couldn't see anything to change caching.
