I recently installed a WD 120 gb drive on my brother-in-law's IBM Aptiva
400 mhz Celeron. He has never upgraded the bios and I suspected that I
would probably have to install disk overlay software to use it. I was
surprised that the bios auto-detected the drive and both Window 98 and
Windows ME recognized the entire drive. I think hte next bios limitation is
at 137 gb.
