  Look under "System Exceptions" in your control program reference.
  Decoding this from my copy, I get :

  "Warning in facility 1 : 1", which is XCPT_UNABLE_TO_GROW_STACK, a
  portable, non-fatal, software generated exception, indicating that no
  new guard pages can be allocated for the thread's stack.

  Try setting a larger stack size for _beginthread().
