Here we go again. Comparing "proof of concept" cars from almost 50 years
ago with today's state of the art. You two guys don't seem able to grasp
that, along with time passing you by, technology hasn't stopped evolving.
I just saw a tvshow where 50 years ago all the engineers were convinced
that it was impossible for an airplane to break the "sound barrier".
Today the Concord flies daily and this weekend even a car finally broke
the "sound barrier" too!
Just a moment while I state the obvious here:
50 years is 1/2 a century.

We will be entering the 21'st century shortly.
Yesterday a major Japanese car maker officially announced their 1st
production hybrid car model. It does over 80 miles per gallon not 8.
You two guys can take the foot out of your mouth now. :-)
