Try looking at garage sales; you'd be surprised what you can find for around 
$50! I found a Fuji road bike at one, with Suntour components (pretty good), 
and nice aluminum alloy wheels, etc., for $50. Try to stay away from Huffy, 
Murray, etc, as they are not reliable nor durable.
