Its also new become clear that he has some of the most immaculate lines
that we have ever seen. Goes a hell of a long way to explaining why he kept
raving on to Lewin that Lewin must be too stupid to know how to use modems
properly coz Dave never saw the problems that Lewin was complaining about.

Lewin was complaining about precisely the same sorts of problems Bill
was having to you before the Sportster rom change. Quite a while ago
now, a good year or so ago. So presumably whatever got fixed in that
Sportster rom change was still in the USR Lewin was using at the time.

Notice he also tried that with you initially too on the stupid
user line and ended up looking pretty damned silly indeed too.
