Maybe so, but the 6146b wasn't designed for one specific rig, anymore than
the 6146W can be used in military rigs, alone.
As far as I've ever been able to tell, a 6146 is a 6146, is a 6146 - some
just better than others.
From the 1957 Tube Manual:
Cathode - Volts Amps
---------------------
6146 6.3 1.25
6883 12.6 0.625
6159 26.5 0.3
Base 7CK
Plate dissapation 25W
Plate Voltage 750V
Screen Dissapation 3W
Screen Voltage 250V
Freq Mc Full Rating 60Mc
Typical Ratings Class AB(2) (for two tubes in push-pull)
Plate - 750V
Screen - 195V
Suppressor - -
Grid -50V
Plate Current - 23/220mA
Screen Current - 1/26mA
Grid Current 100mA (peak grid to grid a.f. volts)
Aprox Drive Power 0W
P-P Load 8kOhms
Aprox Power Out 120W
Show me something different for the 6146B
