I doubt if anyone here would be silly enough to accept County Estate & 
Agency's offer to buy specific shares at their quoted prices - often 30%
or so below market.  County offered to buy my Westfield Holdings for 
$6.50 per share.  Current market is about $9.80 and I may consider 
selling when the share get to $15 in a few years .  $6.50 is a joke.

If you get offer letters from County, please don't just bin them.  
Advise the ASX and/or the companies mentioned by County that these 
shonks are still active.  I mailed the post-paid envelope back to 
County so they would incur at least some cost.  You may like to do the 
same.

I also called County direct and complained.  Unfortunately, the 
principal is always "busy" so his long-suffering secretary had to field 
my ire.  She seems to be used to it - no surprise.

I see TNT are suing this outfit.  Although County is just a $2 shell, so 
obviously the principals have prepared for trouble and have protected 
their assets.

Words fail me over guys like this who basically prey on the most 
vulnerable of investors - the very ones who can least afford to be 
ripped off.
