GE>MD> MH>Sure Pink Floyd had their "hits", such as "Another Brick In the

GE>MD> Not Prog.
GE>Granted, the songs listed aren't very "proggish". But what about "Dark
GE>Side of the Moon"?
In my personal opinion (and only MY personal opinion) it sits on the
wall (bad pun, eh?). It has some elements of Prog, but MY basic criteria
of musical complexity with a Rock attitude/style is not there. It
fits more into my personal category of psychedelic rock or art rock. In
any case, it's a great Classic Rock album. So is "Meddle," their
previous album, which I consider slightly more "Proggy" than DSOTM.
But as for the purposes of this echo, I believe the general consensus
would be that both those albums are Prog., counter to my own _personal_
opinion.
