On or about 12-21-05 23:52, Ardith Hinton did engage James Bradley

AH> serve yore per pus... [chuckle].

Ah... The days of you're...

JB> While becoming acquainted with you, I did have to take my
JB> time to compose my thoughts, and when I say you are a
JB> taxing corespondent, I mean so in the MOST delightful way.

AH> Aww, shucks... [blush]. Thanks for the
AH> clarification! That's one of the things I enjoy about life
AH> in the slow lane, time to compose my thoughts. I can mull
AH> over an idea from James, for example, while waiting for
AH> Nora to finish some task or other. IMHO you'll probably
AH> get a better answer that way.... :-)

Aint that the truth? Now, I've become too accustomed to taking WAY too much
time. <-;

After the summer of self abuse - at least semi-accidental as it was - to this
fall of trying to keep the new flooring from punching a hole through the old
flooring, and now that I've slept through a twelve hour night recovering from
the "holidays"... I need a holiday to recover from the holiday!

I mentioned here that my MD has me on an anti-inflammatory, which only seems to
inflame my discomfort? Shoot... As *if* I could keep from running 'fdisk' more
than my modem!

AH> Q. (from Ardith) Where are you going?
AH> A. (from Dallas) Crazy. Care to come along?

AH> I did, and we're still together umpteen years later... [ROTFL].

Viva la pain in the butt!

Pre-HS graduation, I was more likely to answer, "...'Round in circles. Gonna
fly high, like a bird up in the sky."

With todays realism, I'm more apt to, "...Into a ditch. Don't push me, unless
you want to join me." No wonder I'm single. <-|

JB> So, instead of picking my nose, while staring into the
JB> ibis that is my living quarters,

AH> I suspect you mean "abyss". Ibis is an ancient
 AH> Egyptian god.... ;-)

No, I was playing on the theme.

Likely, my auto "Take the first spell-checked suggestion" reflex
guessed wrong
that time. But I'll officially blame it on the theme of this post.

JB> I thought I'd cause some more trouble hear.

AH> Ah, "hyacinths for the soul!" Glad you did.... :-))

Gee... Maybe I *was* playing to the theme. (Now, *I'm* starting to wonder.)

Bottom line is, I should reply to mail before I forget what a smart-mouth I was
trying to be.

As you might have gathered, I have a second machine on the Linux work-bench
right now, with all sorts of hardware quandaries. I have about fifteen
different flavours of the OS to toy with. Just about *exactly* the square
footage of flooring to cover my main level... ... ...

I'll be back as soon as I need to recover from exhaustion again, but for the
time, I'll try to get to the rest of your volley to me.
