subject: early El Nino spring ?

TA>Considering what a very mild winter we have experienced in
  >the eastern Massachusetts area this El Nino year I started
  >my seedings for my tomatoes yesterday. I generally start
  >then at Easter time.
TA>Are there any other super optimist out there anticipateing
  >an early spring planting this year?
ÿ
Here's one.....my husband and I planted our tomato seeds a week ago and
there are sprouts beginning. We also planted some annuals. If the
tomatoes do well, we'll pot them and have larger (hopefully) more
mature (hopefully) plants. s you can see, there's a lot of hope
here...(ggg)
TA>When should we start our peas and beans this year?
Good question...the peas won't hurt to be a little early as the frost
doesn't do them much damage, if any. Do you plant all your pea and
bean seeds at one time or do you stagger them? If you do the latter,
then you don't risk too much to take a chance on planting early. We
are thinking of being ready to go early as well. We only plant green
beans, tomatoes and peppers (sweet). What do you plant?
