Tell that to the alcoholics who have managed to survive much higher. The
highest on record of someone who lived through the experience was around
.700 something when I was a student at Seattle University.
.45 has been seen more than once in an alcoholic who has managed to
develop a very high tolearance.  When that goes, and it does rather soon
after that sort of score is recorded in a hospital emergency room after
the first accident, then the fact that he is an alcoholic becomes very
obvious to everyone.
