It's not the hydrogen that damages the ozone but rather using
fossil fuels as the source from which to extract it that causes
the problem.

Like I said before if that M.I.T. researcher succeeds in duplicating
the manner in which plants break the hydrogen - oxygen bond
synthetically the problem disappears.

Fusion power could also be used to supply oxygen and hydrogen
from water without ozone destroying or greenhouse gasses
once fusion's a practical reality
