not much to understand, really...

in this case, you are completely out of luck unless you can get your telco to
fix your lines and not do the a2d d2a conversions between you and the CO...
JE> haven't been able to get X2 or v90 speeds. Please explain how is

it is not... and a few years ago, i wasn't sure i would be able to in my
location... at one time, they had what they call "line conditioning" on my
lines just to get the signal out here... i found out about it one day when my
lines bit me and not from someone ringing in... when i measured with a meter,
i had "high" AC voltage... so i called and asked why... recently they placed
small boxes (5feet wide, 4 feet tall, 3 feet deep) in my area... i've not
been able to get a lot of info on these boxes but it appears that they are
like "mini COs"... my signal hits one of these boxes and is digital all the
way to the CO...
i guess some of us have it "better" than others... sorry i'm not able to
help... good luck in your area...
