I agree with almost all that you said except the compression thing my 
question is... what is the size of the hard drive space say for a kilobyte 
frame if betacam sp is 150kb frame size then d-2 would have to much higher 
than that. Granted some day NEWTEK will totally give up on these amiga 
products
and concentrate on the 80% of the computer population with the money to buy 
and that is the pc clone world.
    Anyways just my 2 cents worth... feel free to return the excess penny.
