can someone tell me how to do this

I have two form in one there is 4 items in a list box dogs, cats,
monkeys, snakes. a button add item. in the second form i have a list
box and a lebel which displays sub total. and a button remove item

when u press ad item it adds the item to the other form and show sub
total, then when u add more item it adds to the subtotal and the itme
into the list box.

the problem is when i press remove item, it removes the item in the
list box but it doesn't remove the price from the sub total.

i need a way for the computer to recognize the cost of each item and
when i remove the item, it will remove the item from the total.

please include comments and code, thnx a lot
