Did you keep the modems' stats from a couple of weeks ago when you tried
this?  If not, you might want to try the above again, if you get the
chance.  I seem to recall that you were unable to test Courier to
Sportster, because of some obscure answering problem, but given that it
worked OK on the BBS, I wonder if you managed to work out what the problem
was?
