01 Aug 96 , Steve Banham did fondle the keyboard and wrote to me!:
Yowser & greets Steve!,
RVR>> But Steve, it's not a necessity to visit it - I doubt there'll be much
RVR>> there that is not really covered here. Any cute little images etc can
RVR>> always be forwarded via a file request or similar if you don't have
RVR>> internet access. What Dave is proposing is an extension to this echo,
RVR>> not a replacement. Evn if it is never used, it doesn't really cost
RVR>> anybody anything except a little time and effort.
SB> But surely that 'little time and effort' would be better spent doing
SB> something that people would use. No offense to Dave Freeman - I just
SB> think that if people are going to put some time into an amiga
SB> information forum (whatever it's form) it would be best to do so in a

SB> with modems...
Oops! Sorry - I misunderstood (now reading the topic). I don't think Dave
is suggesting a web page as a replacement for Acar or anything like it. He
was just using the point of discussion to add something else as well.
Well that's how I read it. :)
Cheers, __
