Sorry, no details, I read about this stuff about 15 years back (silly me, I
don't think I still have the magazines). Note also that the idea back then
was to use tritium instead of plain hydrogen, and tritium is radioactive
(beta) in itself.

I can't find anything on the topic on the web just now, so maybe I'm just
remembering things incorrectly...
