 That should be possable by Editing the CMOS. Most Compaqs have the
Program in a Hidden partition on the Hard Drive. I don't rwecal lthe key
strokes to call it up when the machine is booting though.
 IF not a Floppy Disk version can be downloaded from the HP web site
under Compay Support/Downloads.    
 I work with several slower Compaq Deskpros(200's and 450's). 
On those I dumped the Hidden Partition and use the Floppy approach.
Keeps people form Messing with the CMOS. :-)  :-)
