Hello Bonnie,
-BG> Schonberg is enough to drive anyone up the wall after a while!
I bet he was a nice guy to hang out with though. ;)
-BG> I seldom turn on my main monitor speakers in my studio... and
-BG> use headsets most of the time when tracking keyboards.
Ditto here...but don't you get tinnitus (sp?) occasionally? I have a tendency
to turn it up louder than I have to.
On a "relative note":
Here is a puzzle...
On the stereo I use, I am getting a weak decible response with the
headphones plugged in all the way...a loud signal when the jack is only
half-way in. In either case, when I adjust the balance (L and R), I get
1) Cage's "4:33" on one channel.
2) Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring" on the other channel.
What is going on?
Of course, this leads us to the Cage-ian topic of "Silence":
-BG> I hope to move to a more commercial location for the studio soon though,
-BG> it has been nice and quite most of the time..
Where are you,Canada?? I am in New Hampshire...(didn't see your origin)...
-BG> Biggest problem here is the idiots with the car alarms that don't
-BG> complex when going to work at 5AM!!
I have had fewer problems with security when I wasn't worried about being
secure...(I think...)
;)
