   Hi Allan,
I've never actually kept Kuli Loaches with my discus but in my 
experience Cardinal Tetras would be fine. I also keep Spraying 
Characins, Bloodfins, Rummy-Nosed Tetras amongst others with mine and 
have never had any problems :>
