Maybe, though this is also a strength of the series, for the humor and  
style is what we could expect, even though Futurama has a completly  
different setting than the Simpsons. So it is kind of the Simpsons but  
more for adults and more like "Treehouse of Horror" in every Episode. :)

But do you think that Futurama's Stories were uncreative? I think that  
they had quite some good stories. I just think that after about 15 seasons  
The Simpsons have made every possible joke and story there is in that  
specific setting. They tried to change some things by killing of Ned's  
Wife and let the Milhouses break up etc. but that were only minor changes.  
Futurama was something completly different, so as I said, I would rather  
have seen more Futurama episodes with at least some more fresh ideas, not  
because the writers are more creative but because we haven't seen  
everything yet.
