Your weekend sounds interesting.  We go to Mackinac Island occasionally.
I love it up there in the summer and fall.  The colors are awesome!  We
did a ride called the Big Mac a couple years ago out of Mackinaw City.
It rained a little, but we got in part of the shoreline and the tunnel
of trees on the state highway.  I'd like to do it again.

I'd like to try something like that, but sleeping in local parks and
school gyms doesn't excite me. :-)   And too, I'm not a fundraiser and
most of those rides require pledges.  I heard about one out of St. Paul
last year that I would have loved to do.  I forget the details now, but
you ferried across a river, rode to Red Wing, and Amtrak took you and
your bike back to St. Paul.  It was a fundraiser, and there was a
minimum you had to get.

No week long rides are in our plan.  I'm sure we'll do the invitationals
around the area.  I could be interested in an extended ride if my friend
comes up with something.  She goes all over--worldwide!  I'm interested
in doing a Vermont Bike Tour sometime.
Have fun on your ski weekend.  If you come across any good Wisconsin
ride info, let me know, ok?  We might do one in Chippewa Falls in May.
I hope they send us the brochure again....
