Sam, can you either write in mixed case or lower case please?
Someone has told me that if you go on the internet and go
htp://www.acp.au/
maybe also go
lynx
maybe also go
80
various magical things will happen that will get you the index
information, put out by Australian Consolidated Press. I'll try
to work it out myself.
BTW, if you're going to resort to paying $1200/year, you could
instead just get a teletext decoder for $450-$650 once-off
charge. I'll see what I can organize from this end, but if
someone with internet experience wants to speak up, now is as
good a time as any.
Also, I've got another plan, and that's to make use of individual
typists. E.g. I will occasionally enter the data for my personal
stocks of interest onto the computer, and I know someone who does
it for their stocks every day. If we are a little bit more
organized, once every few months we could merge our stuff into a
large file, which I can make available for FREQ. I've certainly
got the BBS available for FREQ from ANYONE, if someone else could
do some of the other stuff, that would help. Only monthly data is
of any real use, because it will always be old information.
BFN. Paul.
