Double click the .iso file in explorer and say yes to all the prompts.
(open the .iso with ahead nero if windows asks you to choose an app)

There's no magic trick to record an iso in a "bootable" fashion either the
ISO is bootable or it's not. and either your bios supports boot from CD or
it doesn't  (settign the the CD-rom device to in the cmos setup
"autodetect"  hels with some bioses that don't allo settings in the cmos
for "CDROM")
