One possible way is to create an hidden buffer in the same ring. After
doing that, you can copy the marked line into this buffer. Replace the
marked line with an unique label in the original text and add this makr as
header into the 'hidden' file.

Sample text:

  ...bla bla bla...
  {at}{at}{at} Name of the fold {at}{at}{at}
  ...bla bla bla...

Sample entry in the hidden file:
  {at}{at}{at} Name of the fold {at}{at}{at}
  This is the folded text


At last you have to overload the SAVE-key. The new save function / key must
expand all folds in the text! This becomes necessary, because the folded
text is not in the same file!
