RS> On my M34f I turned on AT\V6 recently (the undocumented call progress RS> statistics). Anyway while I was connected I typed +++ expecting to get RS> back to command mode. Instead I got a continuous update screen like this: RS> OK RS> Speed EQM: max min av hex limit Rx-Dbm S10 S09 C=cts loss S=rlsd loss RS> 28800 2067 039 032 034(22) 041 025 018 000 PE> Interesting. Can I use this for anything though? It would be interesting to look at the Rx dBm figures and compare them with what other measures of that we have, and see if they make sense. One downside with these figures is tho that they are the Rx level AFTER the modems have measured the line and tweaked the various params to do what they think is the best for that particular line. While the USR appears to be getting the line probe wrong with other than a USR at the other end, either because its having a brain fart itself, or because the Rockwells arent doing the standardised line probe properly, what odditys we see in the Rx level reported may just be due to that brain fart. Still, it would be interesting to compare what an M34F says about the Rx level from say the Bulldog with the Rx level a USR claimed to see at your end. Stuff like that. @EOT: ---* Origin: afswlw rjfilepwq (3:711/934.2) SEEN-BY: 711/934 @PATH: 711/934 |
