A friend swears the Brother laser multifunction line is non-poisonous,
actually feeds paper, is cheap to run, and lasts a few years.

I've taken to putting problem inkjets (HP heavily represented) on junk PIIs
and PIIIs, sometimes headless.  Even Win98 runs for days if you're just
printing to it.
