I must be going blind, there is a demo version with the link "Try
now" I must of been looking for the key word Demo.

  http://acronis.com/download/

I have downloaded the demo version of Acronis Recovery Expert. I have
it scanning the HD using the "Fast" mode. In about 3hrs it has
identified 5 partitions that are marked as deleted. Looking at the
partition size and labels they match the lost ones. it's just about 80%
through the 200G IDE. This program looks a lot easier than DFSee cryptic
output. DFSee however found 7 partitions in a lot sorter time. DFSee does
not give me the partition label or even a human readable partition size.
DFSee does have a lot more options that just might be useful if I knew what
they did.
