RB> Different story if the Yum-Char meets ALL his expectations,
RB> but if your expectations are High (as I feel Pauls are) then
RB> he must be prepared to PAY.
BG> You're talking about somebody who once drove 50km out of his way to pick up
BG> a 9-pin serial cable from my house, in order to save a whole $5. I think
BG> you'd stand more chance trying to get money out of Christopher Skase,
BG> myself...
Er Bill, I picked up the 9-pin cable from you because it was a SUNDAY,
and I realised I had no access to a suitable cable. I was actually
willing to pay extra to swap up to a 9-pin cable. BTW, cables cost
me $10 locally, although someone in the sticks once advertised them
for $5.
RB> He really made me so mad, that he could use a Courier and then pass it up
RB> for the netcomm. (Money, not being the issue, here)
BG> It was the money, as it happens. He's already stated that had they been
BG> the same price, he'd have bought the Courier.
No, I said that NOW I would buy a Courier, if they were the same
price. Back then, I don't know what I would have done. I *probably*
would have bought the Courier, because I knew I could live with the
problems. BFN. Paul.
