Actually, yes, in fact some one has done something similar.  It is for
the Soundblaster Pro though, and not the SB16.  He may have one for the
SB16.  His name is Jeroen Hoppenbrouwers, address hoppie{at}kub.nl.  He did
NOT use MMPM/2 calls to write this program and infact overrides MMPM/2
when it comes to it.  I found that when I was using it I received MORE
volume than MMPM/2 would allow.
