Not quite, Jeff. Gotta remember a simple dipole is a mono-band. *Any*
tri band beam will out perform a dipole. And *some* tri band or multi
band beams will out perform *some* monoband beams!  Boom lenght is
king when talking about beam antennas!
... I don't have a solution but I do admire the problem.
