| subject: | Re: ePDF and WinOS2 - Report |
In the meantime, I found time to fiddle around with programs and
settings, and have found a working solution that saves me from having to
create PDFs on my Windoze machine.
- I choose "print to file" in the Word 6 printing dialog and create a PS
file.
- This PS file can be opened in GsView and converted to a working PDF
file. I selected 300dpi over the 72dpi preset.
- I was not able to get ePDF working, I always get a "distiller error
code 1" message. I assume I have one of the settings in the ePDF program
wrong since the same PS file works with GsView. I use Ghostscript as a
distiller.
Thanks again to everybody.
Stephan
