| subject: | Transfer of 2 gb files |
Hi All,
After changing motherboard, I needed to reinstall Win2k (Don't ask -
'tis a long story!!). Prior to the reinstall, I transferred a 4.5gb
video file fron the NTFS c: to one of my OS/2 JFS drives using a
straight file copy.
I'm now wondering how to get the file back into Windows so that I can
finish editing it before burning to DVD.
I tried transferring to the server but OS/2's Netbios limits files to
2gig. Transfer via FTP failed too. RAR wouldn't work with the file
either presumably due to the file size (I thought I'd split it into
500mb chunks).
Any suggestions? A FAT32 partition won't help as it has a 4gig file
size limitation.
Cheers,
Paul.
