Pegasus is a workstation based MHS mail system, and is therefore pretty
specific to Novell. The Mercury NLMs allow Pegasus to be used with any mail
system which follows Internet standards, communicating by protocols such as
POP and SMTP. If you are willing to move your enterprise mail system to use
Internet protocols, then you could use standard clients such as Eudora or
Exchange and be platform independent.
