Yes, it overwrites files instead of giving you the option to append, if
you're writing to the same filename.

fiddle with my copy. Of course I could still use Squish-style bases with it.

Yes, timEd runs circles around everything I've used thus far, which is why I
became too vocal when GvE said he would not fix the Y2K bug.
