MB>> Idem for my stuff, which is weirder than most people there can
MB>> endure.. even though I found at NAID a higher concentration of weirdos
MM> Hey, I love weird.... provided is still has some tonality to it. :)
I love weird too.. For most people, "weird" is a negative word:
weirdness is ugly. But not for me: I find weirdness beautiful.
MM> That popular Skaven tune, "Catch that Goblin!" was pretty warped...
I don't remember hearing it... sorry. I know that it got 1st place at a
contest, don't remember when..
MM> I have a style all my own as well, but not all that popular it would
MM> seem. I like the big orchestral stuff, which is kinda' what most people
MM> in the tracker world AREN'T all that fond of... I should just stick to
MM> MIDI where I belong. :)
Oh no, don't leave me alone...! :)
MB>> Speaking of which, There are rumors that NAID'97 WON'T be held.
MM> Yipe! I hope it's held... I'd like to GO to one of these things...
MM> was the turnout pretty good?
Hmmm yeah, since 77 people participated to the musiccompo, and that
most attendants weren't participating to that compo,.. well, maybe we
were 500, or 300, or 800, I don't really know.
MM> something that sounds like a movie score- which I try- and people say
MM> you copied it. They're not sure where from, but you MUST have copied
MM> it from SOMEWHERE!) [grin]
MM> People just bug me sometimes,...
I once listened to a .MOD file a friend called Pierre had done. I was
listening to it on a 286 / PC Speaker with another friend called
Raymond and his girlfriend, sometime in early 1993. Even though this
was a 100% original tune, the girlfriend told us "I heard it somewhere.
I don't know where it comes from, but I'm pretty sure he copied it."
