Well, actually, with Arabs this would be just about the right time. Remember, 
they grow slower than the other breeds, and we didn't want to overtax those 
little Arab legs (g).  She's funny...she lets you know when she's ready to 
move up to something a little more complex.  Right now we're dealing with a 
rooting at the bit problem...argghhh!  She's in a plain, fat, loose ring 
snaffle, and I think I'll change to a French snaffle as she seemed to like 
the smaller one I had a while back.  Just got to come up with the money to 
get the next size up!  I don't think she's doing this to be bad or anything, 
but I do think there's something about this snaffle she doesn't like.  
Hmmmm.....might be time to have her teeth checked again too, although I had 
them done last spring.  Cripes!  It's always something (g).
