I have ridden a bicycle a lot of miles in my younger days.
It was easy to learn to conserve energy by mostly coasting to
a stop instead of pedalling full speed and suddenly stopping.
Although I am dependent on commercial power, doing some thinking
about what it would take to generate our own power has helped
me be a wiser energy user.
