Unfortunately, there are very few like him when it comes to "news" in the US
these days.

There used to be a CNN Headlines News station, which was more "condensed"
than its parent that which ran pretty much what you'd expect... the news
headlines with little opinion injected. That station still exists, but I
cannot tell much of a difference between it and CNN these days.
