FW>Tell me what happened next. Did it clear up? Did the next chicks survive?
FW>Huh...what? I also lost a cockatiel to a band about 10 years ago. I
FW>immediately cut the bands off all the birds. But that was before all this
FW>government business.
Eventually it cleared up,as he later had healthy babies. But his mate
was stolen and he has never re-bonded.
FW>I remember you saying that. have you found another hen yet?
With all that's gone on lately, like Ed ending up in the hospital this
week, and renters skipping out on rent, etc, I have not had a chance to
call your friend.
FW>Took the Great Bill to the vet on March 4. She was amazed at how well she
FW>looked...even the dying foot. She did a CBC and it came back more perfect

FW>perfect. We are still waiting for the foot to drop off. Ugh. I think that

FW>spirolina really helped her.
I am glad the GB is doing better. I am confident that the spirulina is
helping. I am sure it is the reason that I have not had a cold since
October nor allergy attacks. I was used to Bronchitis twice a year. Not
this year.
FW>By the way, did you find a wholesaler for the spirolina. I got 6 ounces
FW>yeaterday at the health food store for $1.89 an ounce.
Yes, Earthrise. I think it's (pet grade) buying a case of 4/4pounders is
about $395. I think the case of 12 one pounders is close to that. I
forget what one pound alone costs through them. Also they sell the human
grade.
Also I have an account at an herb and vitamin co called Frontier. I
think they charge about 30 bucks a pound plus a 10% upcharge, plus about
15 or 20% est'd shipping. Human grade tabs is base price $10 bottle but
add the other charges. By then it is almost as much as we pay at a
healthfood store. So your price is really close and less hassle.
I also got your netmail but have not had a lot of time to do mail. This
is more direct sometimes and I will get to the netmail soon.
