I have been using Audio-CD-Creator 0.53 with CDRecord 2.0 for quite a 
while to create both data and audio (wav) CDs. My current system has a 
Tekram DC-390U2W SCSI adapter and a HP 9210 CD-Writer.
I am now trying to use MP3 encoding, but neither the on-the-fly encoding 
nor the encoding of previously grabbed (CDDA2WAV) WAV files works; when 
I click the ENCODE button, I hear a beep two seconds later and the 
ENCODE button changes to DONE - and of course no files are created. I 
have been trying all variants of versions 3.90 and 3.94b of LAME.
I am using the standard settings of the "MP3 encoding" options (VBR 
standard).
Has anybody succeeded in creating MP3 files with a similar setup?
