Hi Julia,
I've been thinking up crazy ideas during my down time and wanted some input
on
this one. I think it might work.
QBE with a twist!
Seeing that the QBE seems to have slowed down I was trying to think of
something that might perk up some interest and this is what I came up with.
Instead of having to sew a block each month have a mystery QBE. What it
would
involve is:............
Lets say your pattern choice has 4 pieces and 3 fabrics just for argument
sake.
The participants would 1 cut pieces from the fabrics. Pin corresponding
paper
template to the pieces and mark them ie. piece A-1, B-2, C-2 and E-3. That
would account for 4pcs in 3 colors. Now insert a piece of paper with the
placement according to the row ie A-1 B-2 C-2 A-1
A-1 E-3 E-3 A-1
A-1 B-2 C-2 A-1
Hope I'm explaining this well.
Anyway now the winner has a mystery block to make, the templates, incase it's
a new design she doesn't have, the cut fabric pieces and placement
rections.
