subject: Why Os/2

Well, this would be better served under the OS2 area (or probably the
OSDEBATE area) where you would probably get many more responses.

Most DOS based programs run PERFECT. You will realize some slow-downs
in some of your games which demand the entire computer's resources.

But as for advantages, let me give you a list of programs I have running
at the same time DAILY:

  - A clock program I wrote - ALWAYS RUNNING
  - An OS/2 communications program - ALWAYS RUNNING
  - An OS/2 command line - ALWAYS RUNNING
  - Guidelines 2.1A (for Programming) - ALMOST ALWAYS RUNNING
    - Guidelines runs another program at the same time for compilations
  - A QWK mail reader (after downloading mail only)

Now, can you do that with Windows and have all the programs run with the
same, original speed? I don't think so... I mean I KNOW not!
